PC Pro Guide is a Los Angeles–based team of PC builders and engineers on a mission to remove the guesswork from custom PCs. We believe anyone can build a system they’re proud of - without wasted parts, surprises at checkout, or hours lost in spec sheets.

Our Story
- The spark: We kept seeing friends struggle with chipset quirks, clearance issues, and outdated part lists - so we decided to fix it.
- Early prototype: We created a simple rules engine that explained why parts did or didn’t work together, in plain English.
- From tool to platform: Community feedback pushed us to expand our parts coverage, refine explanations, and raise the bar for accuracy.
- Today: PC Pro Guide brings clarity to PC building with explainable compatibility, clean design, and an obsessive focus on reliability.

How We Ensure Accuracy
- Source-first data: We prioritize manufacturer documentation and technical spec sheets; retailer data is used to fill gaps with citations where applicable.
- Explainable rules: Every compatibility warning includes a human-readable reason and a source link whenever available.
- Human + automated QA: New rules and data changes pass automated tests and a human review pass before release.
- Incremental updates: We ship small, frequent improvements and maintain public release notes.

- Accuracy over hype: If a spec is unclear, we say so - and flag it in the UI.
- User first: No pay-to-promote parts in core recommendations or rankings.
- Clarity: Explanations > jargon. We teach the why behind each choice.
- Continuous improvement: We iterate often and document what changed.
