- Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Notification: Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security incident at security@pcproguide.com.

- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms.
We may monitor use for security, reliability, and policy enforcement.
5. User Content

- Your ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content.
- License to us: You grant PC Pro Guide a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and create derivative works of your User Content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms.

- Trials: If offered, trials are for evaluation and may be modified or terminated at any time.
- Billing: You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method for fees, taxes, and any applicable charges.
- Renewals: Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Cancellations: You can cancel effective at the end of your current billing period; fees already paid are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
- Price changes: We may change fees with advance notice for subsequent billing periods.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PC PRO GUIDE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PC PRO GUIDE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PC PRO GUIDE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) 100 USD.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PC Pro Guide and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
18. DMCA and IP Complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice including your contact information, a description of the work and the allegedly infringing material, the location of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act, to legal@pcproguide.com. We may remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.
19. Export and Sanctions Compliance
You may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions or are in a jurisdiction where such use would violate applicable export control or sanctions laws. You agree to comply with all such laws and regulations.
20. Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Except as set forth in Section 21 (Arbitration), the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.
21. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Arbitration: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
No class actions: You and PC Pro Guide agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending a written notice stating your intent to opt out to legal@pcproguide.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
22. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features or functionality and may suspend or stop the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
24. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PC Pro Guide regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
